She was just a kid in middle school when she was diagnosed with cancer. While other girls were picking out hairstyles for their first dance, she was adjusting to a new reality — one where her hair would never grow back the same.

With the help of her family, she found La’ Wig. Her first wig was soft, natural, and fit like it was made just for her. It gave her the confidence to walk into prom with her head high and heart full. That same wig stayed with her through senior pictures, graduation, and her very first day of college.

Four years later — after exams, study groups, and campus life — her wig was still going strong.

In 2023, as she prepared for her next chapter in medical school, she returned to La’ Wig and selected a new one. This time, she chose a custom piece that reflected the woman she had grown into: bold, brilliant, and full of purpose.
